I’ll insert images of each product so you can see what I’ve used (as my camera didn’t focus on most of the products I showed).

So I didn’t know the look I was going for until I filmed this but it turned out great, I think anyway…

Here is a list of the products I used and a brief description of how I used them:

Real-U “Control – face gel” and Real-U “Hydrate – lite moisturiser”:

I used this after cleansing my face to add hydration to my skin.

Smashbox “Photo Finish” primer:

Applied to my T-zone to fill the pores and create a “photo finish” smoothness.IMG_0295 (1).jpg

Nars “All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation” in the shade Light 4, Deauville:

Blended in with a beauty blender to my face and neck.IMG_0298.jpg

Maybelline “FitMe” Concealer in the shade Fair Clair no.15:

Applied under the eyes, on the bridge of the nose, forehead and chin to lighten the areas which would be naturally hit by light.

Nars “Tahiti Bronzer Laguna”:

Applied to my cheeks, just under the cheek bones and brought up to my temples and top of my forehead and down to my jawline and along the jawline.

Nars blush in the shade “Orgasm”:

Applied to the apples of the cheeks and swept up to the temples to create a gorgeous glow because it has a little bit of highlight in it. Doing this also helps to make my face look a little more round as I have a longer, oval shaped face.

Australis “OH HAI BROW” shaping kit:

Applied the medium shade to my brows to create the shape I want and then went over with the darker shade gel to set the brows in place. Then used the highlight just under the arch of my brows.

Tarte “Tartelette in Bloom” eyeshadow palette:

I used the shade “Sweetheart” all over my lid to create a base colour and then blended “Rebel” into the crease and outer V to deepen the colour also. I then took a mix of both the two colours to put under the eyes – along the bottom lash line.

Rimmel “Glam’ eyes Day-2-Night” Mascara:

I used the Length wand to create longer lashes before using the Volume wand to create more luscious, larger-than-life lashes. I also put mascara on my bottom lashes to define my eyes a bit more. (I always get asked if my lashes are real because this mascara makes them so long and volumous, people assume I’m wearing fakies 😉 ).

M.A.C matte lipstick in the shade “Velvet Teddy”:

To finish the look I popped a bit of lippy on which matched the colour of my eyeshadow to create a gorgeous monochrome look.

Here is the finished look, my darlings! I hope you love the look as much as I do.

It’s a subtle, yet flattering colour palette and compliments blue eyes. Combined with the lip colour it creates the perfect flirty, yet sophisticated makeup look, perfect for any event.

    1. Thank you, April!! I think this look would suit green eyes as well! Bronze, orange undertones, khaki, gold, and warm brown tones suit green eyes! I love mauve/slightly purple colours on green eyes too! xox
