Introducing the Status Anxiety ‘Wanderer’ Handbag.
I’M OBSESSED WITH THIS BAG!
I stumbled across this bag on Instagram and as soon as I saw it I fell in love.
It took me a couple of days to decide whether or not it was worth the price tag, but after thinking about it I thought “Hey, if I get this… It’s something that will last me forever and I won’t regret spending the money on this.”
This was the first accessory I’d spent a good amount of money on but I believe it will last me a long, long time.
It’s a piece which will be timeless as its simple structure, colour and design would have been wearable 30 years ago, and probably in 30 years time.
It’s material, full grain genuine Italian pebble leather, is durable and classy. It is thick and able to withstand use for everyday life (which I absolutely love because it’ll last me FOREVER!)
I needed a new bag for University, and this is a good size for smaller books and my macbook air just fits in snugly. So I guess you could say it’s an “all-rounder”.
The bag has heaps of space inside with a gorgeous striped design on the lining.
On the outside there are two small zippers at the back for easy storage for (in my case) bobby pins or lip balm.
On the front of the bag is a cute pocket, which I keep my phone in during the day.
I love that it has pockets on the outside because my last handbag had no pockets and I had to search through my bag to find what I needed; this new bag is so much easier if I want to put my phone in an easy to reach spot.
The inside has three pockets. One zip on one side for items that maybe need to be concealed or protected and hidden away so they don’t fall out.
On the other side of the lining is a pocket for bits and bobs, I use this pocket for car keys, and finally a pocket for a phone.
The phone pocket is good, but it doesn’t fit an iPhone 6 and any size above that inside, so I use the outside front pocket for my phone.
The bag is quite heavy on its own, my guess is it’s heavy because the leather is thick and its a large-ish bag. However, the longer adjustable strap makes it easier to distribute weight on the body instead of carrying the bag by the small arm straps.

I hope you enjoy and find this useful… maybe it will even persuade you to invest in your own timeless handbag?!
Let me know if you want me to make a “What’s in my bag” video or blogpost?
Lots of Love,
